Trip to GrammyLand

A couple of week ago we took an early fall break and headed to see Grammy and Papa.  Amelia was such a great little traveler!  Of course with Daddy sitting in the back with her part of the time (so he could keep his broken foot up) that kept her entertained!  I didn't get many pictures from the weekend- it was just a nice restful, relaxing weekend!  Just what Dan and I both needed!

No pictures of Amelia with Papa- but I can share a sweet story.  When we first got there we met Papa at a local Sonny's for lunch.  As soon as Amelia saw Papa she reached for him and snuggled with him for like 10 minutes!  She seriously just laid her head on his shoulder and patted his arm- it was so sweet!


Papa came up to visit us a couple of days later with a friend from his church to do some projects for us around the house.  They brought a truck full of goodies- including this little pink baby stroller that Amelia thinks it's fun to sit in herself.

The men got so many things done for us- we are forever grateful and thankful for their help!  Pictures to come soon of Amelia's new big girl room.
