Once upon a time there was a very sweet little girl named Amelia. She was having a very special 1st Birthday! Grammy and Papa drove from far far away to come celebrate the special day while other family and friends that couldn't come sent beautiful cards full of birthday wishes.
As soon as Amelia came downstairs she knew there was something special going on! She especially loved the balloons- all day she would point and say "Ba-oo".
Papa read Amelia whatever story she brought to him- even when she kept wanting the same story over and over again (just like her daddy did when he was a toddler).
Grammy took the birthday girl outside for a little playtime :)

Mommy made cute little flower cupcakes for everyone to enjoy!
At first, Amelia was very interested in her cupcake with the big #1 on top.
She wasn't too sure though when everyone started singing "Happy Birthday to you!"
When Mommy tried to help take off the pretty purple flower wrapper on the cupcake, Amelia just couldn't take it anymore.
After some cuddling with Mommy we tried again. This independent little girl wanted to "help"!
She had NO problem digging in.
Bath Time!
After a relaxing bath, Amelia was ready to attack the presents!
