We took a very quick trip to Florida the weekend after Amelia's birthday for a funeral for a very dear friend of Dan's family. Chuck was an older man that had become sort of like a Grandpa to Dan and his brother and a very close friend to Dan's parents. It was good to see Grammy and Papa and the people at their church again but we wish it wasn't because of a funeral.
This was Luke's first big road trip- he did great! It took us a lot longer to get down to Florida and back since we had to stop to feed Luke but he was a great little traveler. We typically leave around 4am so we can get a few hours in while the kids are sleeping. Amelia did great too- this was her first long trip with her car sear forward facing- I think it really made a difference. She could see out her window and reach her bag of toys right next to her seat- between her books, new Leap Frog computer, baby doll, and snacks she kept busy!

Amelia loved Grammy's swing
One afternoon while Amelia napped and Daddy was out with Uncle Joe, Grammy and I had a fun photo shoot with Luke and Superman
Super Baby! (11 weeks old)
poor little Luke- he wasn't too sure about all that Super Baby stuff.
