Visit to Grammy Land

Right after our camping trip Dan had to go on a business trip to Clearwater, FL which just happens to be very close to Grammy Land.  Amelia and I tagged along with Dan to spend some time with Grammy and Papa. After quickly unpacking from our camping trip, washing all the clothes, and repacking we headed down to Florida.  Dan would be working all weekend so Amelia and I stayed with Grammy and Papa.  What a great relaxing weekend we had- playing with lots of new toys, swimming, going to a ladies brunch, and of course doing a little shopping. 

Amelia just loved this rocking pink pony- every time we put her on the pony she just grinned and seemed so proud of herself.

Grammy took every opportunity to spoil Amelia rotten!

But hey, what are Grammy's for!  I caught Amelia helping Grammy cooking in the kitchen.

Amelia loves the water!  Some friends of Grammy and Papa have a pool and were so gracious to let us come over and use it one afternoon.  Amelia just splashed and kicked her legs- she is like a little fish out of water  :) She especially loved the little splash area that is built into her float.

Dan ended up having to work so much he only got to come over to Grammy Land on Sunday afternoon.  We enjoyed just hanging out and playing with Amelia.  Daddy missed "his girls".

Monday we headed over to Clearwater and had lunch with Dan, relaxed at his hotel room, and stopped at some thrift stores.  Papa finally got a chance to hold Amelia while Grammy was getting ready to go.

Dan's looking a little better- still catching up on sleep after working like 40 hours in just 2-3 days.

Even though Dan had to work all weekend, Amelia and I had a great time at Grammy Land.
